The Loaded Dice, a 5 piece band from Mid Wales, completed a successful 2009 with 2 BBC Radio live sessions and followed up their fast selling self released album, ‘Sex, Drugs and Atonement’ with their debut single, 'Another Kick At Old Lovers" (available now). Despite being judged by Malcolm McLaren (maverick former manager of Sex Pistols) and DJ Annie Nightingale as winners at the UK final of ‘Live & Unsigned 2009’, the band turned their back on the restrictive contract put forward as a prize and instead concentrated on finalising the tracks that will form a new album to be released mid 2010; working title is “Keeping The Demons In The Box”. "In 2009 we played our first BBC Wales live session, got heard by the likes of Malcolm McLaren, played our first festival dates, had a slot at the In The City festival and even had a review in the Sunday Sport. "2010 started with a second live BBC radio session and gigs in Manchester, Sheffield, Stockport and home. the new ep is almost here, the album's going well and a mid year trek (Liverpool & Sheffield confirmed) beckons." |
